In case you had already forgotten, Hangar 13, authors of mafia III, were working on a mysterious open world project with elements of science fiction. This game was already in development, but unfortunately, today announced its cancellation.
Take-TWO Interactive, Matrix Company of 2K, Rockstar and more, revealed during its most recent financial report that had registered an increase of 3% in net income, but the interesting thing is that they also said they had Registered a charge of $ 53 million dollars for having canceled the development of one of its future projects.
According to Bloomberg, the canceled title was that of hangar 13, which led as a key name Volt and would be a superhero adventure set in an open world. Apparently the title had been under development since 2017 and its production was not only affected by the Covid, but also by several technical settings. The study will have a meeting this Thursday to determine what follows later.
Although Bloomberg and their sources are not sure what will happen with Hangar 13 in the future after this massive cancellation, the study was recently at a conference focused on the hiring of new developers.
Editor s note: What a disappointment this project has been canceled. Despite their failures, Mafia 3 was a game that I do enjoy at the time, and the truth was excited about this new Hangar s proposal 13. We will see what all this ends, but I am worried that the study can be dissolved or something So.
