Riptide is an American investigator television collection that ran on NBC from January 3, 1984 to August 22, 1986, starring Perry King, Joe Cent, as well as Thom Bray. The collection was created by Frank Lupo as well as Stephen J. Cannell, and generated by Stephen J. Cannell Productions in organization with Columbia Photo Television for NBC. The major style was composed by Mike Message and Pete Woodworker. A mid-season substitute, it debuted as a two-hour TV film in early 1984.
