Watch Dogs Legion gives me the serving Assassin's Creed, which I miss in Valhalla

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a huge game, offers the naming assassins and the associated templars and but hardly room. That makes sense, after all, AC Valhalla plays temporally before the founding of the Brotherhood. Nevertheless, Ubisoft always presupposes little assassinate appetizers, but do not breastfeed my hunger. In order to be saturated, I had to resort to another game of ubisoft instead: Watch Dogs Legion, which got a World Event with a lot of Assassin's Creed with UPDATE 5.5.

As Assassin's Creed Fan of the first hour, Annika knows both the old and the new AC feeling. It can gain Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla a lot of positive, but ultimately it lacks more traditional assassin magic, with which it connects a lot.

What is missing, that's certain something

The saying At that time everything was better came to me already about the lips when it comes to the newer Assassin's Creed Games Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla. But of course it is not that easy. I've had fun since the reboot has fun with the games and their quite charming approaches. So slowly, it is enough for me: I finally want to feel again to be part of a brotherhood that puts on Stealth and in conflict with the templars. Just as I wish more connections to the first civilization (ISU) and the present. I miss this traditional content and thus simply the certain something, especially in AC Valhalla.

Ubisoft says it well with us, but not good enough. For example, the Odyssey DLCs offer us more about the ISU and The first blade is addressed, but also for a surcharge. And the infiltration missions, which have made the siege of Paris in the second Valhalla DLC, are fundamental from AC Unity, but play far less Assassin Like. I sometimes wonder with what reasoning the games still deserve the title Assassin's Creed. There is no appearance of a proto assassin as BASIM.

That not only I wish more back to the roots, should not be passed on Ubisoft. But instead of putting more Assassin's Creed into the Assassin's Creed Games, they prefer to pack such interesting ideas otherwise otherwise in mangas, comics and brand new: also in Watch Dogs Legion. As a result, I feel mocked on the one hand from Ubisoft, on the other hand, it offers interesting content that I really enjoy.

In the crossover of the two video games, the Hacker Group Dedsec in modern London encounters the Assassin's proceeds of Jacob and Evie Frye (from AC Syndicate): Darcy Clarkson. She wants to help her brother Lucas and therefore seeks, as well as the Templer Graham Westerly, after an Assassin Tomb.

The story is unfortunately not to the official canon , while Watch Dogs Legion offers in crossover even more traditional Assassin's Creed when Valhalla is ever ever. More: The crossover does not only recover the ancient conflict narrative, but also feels playing much more after the old Assassin's Creed Shares. Of course, the gameplay is still based on Watch Dog's Legion itself, but in the pair of playing hours I offered a full pack of nostalgia.

Thanks to AR panel, we can spy out the environment with an Eagle Drone and also the typical camera shot on a viewpoint as well as the Assassin Jump (Leap of Faith) were installed. To my positive surprise, in the background, various pieces of older soundtracks also sounded, while I was true about working out how to operate an assassin out of the shadow to mount artifacts like the stick demonstration of Evie Frye.

Watch Dogs Legion gives me hope

The crossover makes it clear that Ubisoft did not forget the roots of Assassin's Creed. Alone the hint of Darcy, that assassins strike out of the shadow, instead of racing openly in the conflict, it makes it again ironically. But that does not mean that Ubisoft will be reflected on old strengths.

A little hope this excursion to the modern London but still - canon out or her. Because maybe ubisoft stretches out so the sensors to look like the franchise in the future could be settled and more traditional. A little little hope I at least have by Watch Dogs Legion. Games with Cyberpunk flair are always big in demand. Until it continues to this way at some point - if at all - I just play the classic AC parts through and revel in memories.
