With a launch planned by the end of the year, the Steam Deck is increasingly close, not only from the general public, but from the developers. In a recent statement, Valve has revealed that the development kits of this new platform are already on the way to some of the companies with which those responsible for one of the largest digital stores in the current market are on.
On the Steam site, Valve shared a message where they demonstrate their emotion to share the Steam Deck with some of the developers in charge of creating experiences for PC. This was what was said about it:
All packaged and ready for developers! This is one of the limited lots of the Steam Deck Developer Kit that is sent today to our associates to try their games. These test compilations for the verification of engineering aspects allow us to make developers try units that are functionally identical to the devices that will be launched.
As we are still in the last phases of development, the developer kit gives us the opportunity to guide developers through the process of integrating their games at Steam Deck, while we continue receiving their comments while we prepare for The official launch at the end of the year .
Next to this, the following images were shared.
Some of the lots of Steam Deck will finally be in the hands of users at the end of this year , while some people will receive their platform until next year. On related topics, it seems that not all games in Steam will be compatible with this console. Similarly, a Steam Deck with support for 4K could be a reality in the future.
