Games change. Splitgate is Halo, Halo is Call of Duty, Call of Duty is Battlefield, Battlefield is Call of Duty, Call of Duty is also Dead Rising, and we're not talking about Dead Rising 4. Basically, no game is the same when they started. It does not matter, because now Watch Dogs is Saints Row. It may be an excessive generalization though.
Watch Dogs online mode: Legion called Legion of the Dead is now available on consoles. As you can probably guess it, it's a type of zombies play. It is all the pleasure of normal gameplay in a zombie apocalypse.
In normal circumstances related to zombies, bullets and know-how are the only things you might need, but in the world of Watch Dogs, you still have the technology on your side. In most zombie apocalypse, cell service and electricity are often the first things to do, but they stay your allies when you pirate drones and trigger explosives to fight the undead.
The trailer of Legion of the Dead shows that high-tech weapons are always at your disposal, even at the end of the world as we know it. It seems like it's an online mode where you can team up with up to three other players to survive and escape the city. Legion of the Dead is available to play now, so you can start and see for yourself.
There is a good chance that it is a non-Canon event, but there are also crossed events in Watch Dogs: Legion, especially the Assassin's Creed event. Watch Dogs: Legion is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Stadia.
